Richard Woods is an English artist, whose work spans the fields of art, design and architecture. He is a graduate of The Slade School of Fine Art, where he trained as a sculptor. Tree Trunk is a collection of iconic decorative vases made in a stoneware ceramic. Glazed on the inside and hand-painted on the outside, the large three-armed or small two-armed versions feature the artist’s signature wood grain pattern on the tree trunk-shaped vase.
